Why is it so difficult to stay focussed on writing? I manage a paragraph or so, then my concentration wavers and while I really want to write it, even more than that I want to READ it. I can't write at the speed I want to experience it, or something like that, so I end up tripping over my own thoughts and just wanting to watch it in my head rather than writing it, and once I've done that I just want to daydream the whole thing cos I'm enjoying the story too much myself... Who knew that too much enthusiasm to write could be just as bad as too little? Any advice for focussing better would be greatly appreciated...

I have never done a tag thing before but I was tagged by !Phi921 (https://www.deviantart.com/phi921) and the questions were interesting, and so I decided to do this one. Apologies in advance for the longish philosophical rambles that a couple of the questions sparked... Sometimes I think it must be so much easier if people don't like you cos at least then you wouldn't have people attaching themselves to you like they're suddenly your best friend just cos you were nice and tried to help them with something. And you wouldn't have them demanding attention and time you can't afford to give them for the sake of your own mental health, or expecting you to take on extra responsibilities that you JUST CAN'T COPE WITH and refusing to take no for an answer and I really wish they'd all go away and leave me alone and stop demanding so much of me but there's nothing I can do to get rid of them without hurting them.
